HTC Halfbreak: Spotted First Smartwatch of Manufacturer’s Photos

The first Smartwatch by the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is on photos, which were made in China by Weibo.

They heard from HTC rather less lately. Although the current Smartphone flagship HTC 10 is not a bad device, somehow it seems to beat but not as high waves as the competition. Not to mention the Smartwatch industry, where the Taiwanese so far still at all not has placed himself. Now the rumors flare up again, as pictures of alleged HTC clock in the Chinese network Weibo were divided.

Cooperation with under armour

These show that under the code name “Halfbreak” known Smartwatch in front and back. The display is round and reminds a little of the Moto 360, but without the characteristic black bars. Also the rubber strap seems to be, which together with the cooperation with under armour, an American sporting goods manufacturer, suggests that the Halfbreak for fitness and sports is designed. Unfortunately, it is already evident on a photo that the band tends to tear. A heart rate sensor should be mounted on the back. Android wear is based on version 5.1.1 for use as operating system. Two hardware buttons are on the right side.

When the HTC Halfbreak finally comes on the market, is still uncertain. This year is no longer credited with a start, we must for an official idea probably until the CES (January 2017) or wait for the MWC (end of February 2017).
